DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITY City of Casey invites tenders for the development of a unique retail and mixed use precinct within Melbourne’s rapidly expanding south-east growth corridor.
The development – Casey Main Street – is set to become one of the largest mixed use projects to take place outside the Melbourne CBD. In a prime location in Narre Warren, the 5.1 hectare development site is adjacent to the existing Fountain Gate Shopping Centre, which is one of Melbourne’s largest retail centres. Casey Main Street has priority development status, through a Priority Development Zone (PDZ), which permits construction of up to 25,000m2 of core retail shop floor space plus services. The tender process is managed by Glenn Lamont of leading property, planning and development consultancy MacroPlan Australia.
